Some of our projects:

Strategy Development: Lead a private education organization through its first structured strategy development process.  Worked with the CEO and senior management team to establish an understanding of the key elements of strategy, the current status of the business and the development of long-term strategic goals.  Created a framework of short and medium terms targets and actions to support overall strategic objectives.

Interim Support: Provided senior financial management support to businesses in the manufacturing and education sectors on an interim basis.  Roles included interim CFO.  Supported the smooth transfer of activities to permanent resources.

Organizational Design: Working with the Principal and staff of a growing player in the entertainment space, undertook a comprehensive process re-engineering initiative to ensure the business could effectively execute its existing order book and scale for future growth.  Established clearly defined processes, aligned job scorecards for all employees to clarify role expectations and implemented supporting company-wide RACI matrix.  Supported Principal in redefining relationships with key third party partners in line with redefined processes.

Performance Management: Developed and implemented tools to monitor performance including scorecards to track and manage short-term metrics and progress towards medium and long-term objectives.

Governance: Undertook comprehensive reviews of business control environments.  Identified operational and financial control weaknesses and developed plans to address.  Undertook broad cyber security review, identifying shortfalls against industry standards; established comprehensive strategy to address deficiencies.

Financial Management Process Design: Undertook comprehensive review of the accounting and financial management processes in a rapidly growing education institution.  Restructured and streamlined chart of accounts,  implemented a structured month-end close and reporting process and established robust budgeting and forecasting models resulting in significant improvements in the quality and frequency of financial information available to management.
